Just Plain Old Mountain Folk :>)

Hi , and welcome to my page, it’s about me. I hope I can sufficiently introduce myself, that you may bid with confidence on the few items I will be putting up for auction on ebay.
Where I’m from and where I’m going !

I have lived here most of my life,just as 5 generations of my ancestors, born and raised in the shadow of and in “hollerin distance” of Sharptop Mountain. I have wandered, but always came back , and I guess I , like most of my ancestors , will be buried here. The lake in the foreground of photo below is Lake Grandview, near the base of Sharptop.”Thar’s gold in them thar hills.” I was going about my business of prospecting, when an awful thing happened, I found a little bit of gold. That eventually led me to the western U.S. where I became interested in the silver trinkets and jewelry that were abundant in the tourist centers. As a hobby I learned casting and stone cutting and polishing. The hobby soon became an occupation when my fellow prospecting buddies found that I could take the gold dust and nuggets they were finding and fashion jewelry for their wives/girlfriends. Anyway one led to the other and in the ensuing years my wife and I became regular vendors at a large North Georgia Flea Market. After several years , the declining health of my wife ,as well as other family members , caused us to give up the flea market. Choosing not to sell out, but to put in storage all our inventory. We will be putting up a few items at a time as we remove them from storage, all the silver jewelry will be new unless otherwise stated in the description. We will have the occasional antique , or collectible item in other categories that we inevitably picked up along the way. You just can’t go to a flea market and not buy something… :>) I hope to acquire positive feedback so you may bid with confidence, thanks for visiting and please bookmark my auctions and check in often.
