GLITZ, It isn't as dangerous as ordinary heart surgery, but pretty close. It is a procedure where the surgeon locates a vein or artery in you groin area and inserts a viewer like a camera and has a look at the insides of them all the way to yours heart of lungs, which ever way they are investigating. In my case they did them both. I had it done in the very early morning and was allowed to go home that evening. We only live 5 minutes away so should I be in trouble I could be in emergency room in a whip-stitch.
It seems that my problem is in my lungs and I don't know what the future holds but will find out soon for I have an appointment with a Pullmanary/Heart Specialist. Have no idea what is going to happen then. Hope no more tests. Sounded like at my last visit yesterday to our regular Cardiologist that it will be just a change in meds and the new dr. will just be on the side.
