hi everyone, glitz/jo.......... im crazy for old linens also, especially old hankies i have a great pattern book for using them in quilts. i'm trying to collect enough of the flower hankies to do a quilt., almost there, Lord let me live long enough to get it done, haha. hope you all had a great week-end ,oops, its not over. monday ,no mail, darn. i guess i don't have to tell you the main problem with old linens(ironing) i lost my iron in the great flood of 1886 lol............good night you all.

good morning all, a message for glitz and anyone else out there with fibromyalgia,i read everything i can on the subject and i've noticed a common opinion on diet, we should never eat eggplant or green bell peppers. red ones:great. and also, that we need more water than the norm. other than that its pretty much no help from anyone. anyway , im off and running for the week, just a little slower than before l.o.l. have a great one all.......mel

hi all , home from the antique flea market i did today. geeze! all anyone wants is silver, sterling of course. and they want you to sell antique sterling jewelry at less than scrap prices. give me a break!!! i hate to think of all the wonderful silver and gold pieces that are being melted down.everytime i'd see someone digging thru my plated pieces, i'd say "there's no sterling in there"and it would be dropped like a bad habit!!!! i'm off to shower till the water runs cold. just wanted to check in. have a good one all.......mel

hi all, ....amber, not only get flush, but horrible depression, used to wonder why, that after eating chinese food , the next day wanted to slit my wrists l .o. l.thought it must be all the salt.now i say" what do you have with no msg?" usually answer is "anything you order"and they prepare it fresh! avoid soy sauce like the plague! note to shelley:it seems you starting something good. got a lot of us out here thinking about eating better. evenin' all. shelly, bracelet is most definitly india.attn: tho' i live in so. cal. this old MO. transplant knows that cornbread is best with beans. plus it has to be baked in cast iron skillet, so you can heat it up in oven with the grease before you put the batter in.makes a crispy crust. must go now and wipe my chin! goodnight all....mel
