I have a number of shorter versions of Cecelia. Cil, Cec, Cece and Celia. I answer to them all LOL.
I sure miss the eBay chat boards. The Canada Board and Jewelry Board were my favorites. I've lost touch with so many people. They were good boards for information. I was on the Jewelry Ring but closed it when I went on vacation and didn't hook it back on again. I'll have to just get it done.
Questions on here would be great. I'm sure between us we have a lot of knowledge.

And those of you with those high temperatures, I hope you're able to find a cool spot for a change of pace. I've been managing to keep the house quite cool with 2 portable AC's that vent out the windows. Good investment. We have radiant heat so there is no way we were able to put in a regular AC.

I have not been very active on anything lately...not even eBay. My websites are way overdue for some revamping. I have soooooo much "stuff" to sell and in particular jewelry. I really should get started and list it and let someone else love it.

A couple of weeks ago I participated in a Car Boot Sale at our local beach parking lot. It was very successful for me. I put together items I would have 'given' away to the local thrift store but I ended up selling just about everything. I picked through my jewelry and put together 11 bags and sold them for $10 each. Mainly earrings and necklaces, some bracelets...and crafter/repair items. Also sold a big box of assorted buttons, vintage Christmas decorations and odds and ends. Ended up with a few hundred dollars and cleaned out part of my closet... But, it was hot. Sale was from 8:30 to 12:30.

Hope to be back and chat again. I'll have to scroll down and see what everyone has been doing.

Then I was in Tampa Florida for one month visiting with my daughter and grandchildren. We have had house guests, we've been on a cruise to Alaska and now it's time for me to get all my flower beds in order. I guess I've been a bit busy. I hope to post more often. I really miss our eBay chat boards. I have oodles of jewelry pieces to sort and price and get listed on eBay. I know sales are real slow right now so hopefully sales will get better for all of us.

Once every couple of years the whole community has a huge sidewalk sale and just about everything goes. We have not had one for a couple of years now. The other day I gave away 2 garbage bags full of VHS videos and a whole pile of LP record albums. I'm sure I could have sold them on CraigsList but I just couldn't be bothered. I'm going on vacation so I have to cancel my last listing and will get back to it at the end of November.

I still have a necklace of hers that she had when I was 12 years old!!! I used to have an old Avon jar (purple with 1 or 2 birds on the lid) that I used to keep loose rhinestones in. I used to take them out of the jar and just look at how beautiful they were. In my many travels and moving, as a child, I lost the jar with the rhinestones but I can remember having them as if it was just yesterday. Strange how that happens. I'll take a picture of the necklace and post it for you to look at. See you all later.

I’ve been busy organizing my studio and have created a nightmare! My reference books are all in order and a number of books I have I will try to sell on craigslist. I used to sell old toys at one time and I no longer need those books. Now I’m mainly concentrating on jewelry. I have a number of boxes to take to our local thrift store too. It feels good getting rid of ”things” I have not dealt with in the last 7 years. Someone else will love them, I’m sure.
