Leforme, they do feel gritty on the tooth.

One more unknown mark challenge.... a brooch which is marked 750 (18K) as per European by what I have been able to find online. Then in the same oval in the middle there is a W and a V with a tiny t in the center of the V. This pearl is gritty too. There is one other number mark to the left of the letters above but they are not legible.

Hi Jo, I have two pics of the pearl silver tone brooch down below on the prior post. Front of piece and back of same piece. Yes, the leaves so to speak do loop or curl around but it doesn't appear anything ever hung there or is missing.

Leforme, no "M" anywhere. I went over every spot on it with the fisheye on a magnifying glass It is well made it seems.

Good evening everyone.
I am from over on the PB and wanted to ask your opinion on this sterling silver brooch. http://i42.tinypic.com/b838jk.jpg I have searched for one like it but the ones I have found are marked Danecraft. This one only has the word Sterling on the back side. Would it have possibly been a very early Danecraft piece that wasn’t marked or someone else who used the same mold?
