I have some gorgeour jewelry I picked up the last couple of months I am just so afraid to list them for fear people will see more then I see and will not be pleased. Besides most of it I have no idea if sterling or gold or just toned.. and Stones are they paste, glass or quality stones? I surely wish they had a class on Jewelry so we could learn.. I wonder if anyone local would be interested enough to help me learn..

Good seeing you check in, Hope sales are up for you.. makes you wonder with the bad weather the US is having how many people are without access to homes let alone ebay.. Can you even imagine having your home burned or flooded.. Mother Nature is just plain mean this year.. Luckily we have none of those terrible hazards in Pa. We might get a bad snow storm/blizzard but our home is still standing.. (thus far)..

Been wondering about a few oldies that use to check in on the old board, but cannot remember all their names, know some have passed.. I remember Becca, she use to have her Father living with her and still taking care of her Mom, I think her Father passed then it was just her Mother, Believe she lived in Calif.. not sure she ever joined this board..
Remember there was a gal from England, someone got upset with her about something not sure what but always got along with her.. My goodness that must be 15 yrs ago.. 🙂

Shelly, sorry RL charges $20 a mth just for advertising, then they charge regardless 39cents to start off for each new item & maintenance each month something like .39 (I get a discount) for each item that is already in your shop & you need something like 80-100 items to be noticed.....like what I know is a fact ....you need to spend $ to get $. Doesn't ebay give free ads sometimes? Do you have a store & what is your ebay name by the way?

I wish I could get into Ruby Lane.. Have up a pair of earrings right now that would probably do better on RL.. Hate the fees Ebay charges.. 10% plus Pay pal takes about 5%.. Do you know what RL fees are? Would they amount to more then 15.00 a month. I would like to go to strictly selling Jewelry after the holidays as it is smaller and would not clutter my house so bad.. My DH could probably tolerate it more..

I too try to do the best in describing Items, like you no returns the better I like it.. Think I had one this past year, boots were a childs size and lady thought they were youth sized.. Oh well.

I know I just sold a gun stock for my brother and Ebay/Paypal took out about 16.00, I sold a scope for him, last month for 550.00 and they took out 61.00 and for my DH Harley coat at 325.00 they took out 42.00. I could have used that extra money.. Cannot imagine cut they get out of some Carnival glass that sells in the thousand dollar range.

Sorry I missed you, had a family funeral from cousin that passed at 38yrs old.. Sad.. and my son had Carotid artery surgery the same day cousin died.

OH PAT I missed you again, did not realize it had been so long since I checked in. My sales were really stagnate the last month or so, but this week, I am wondering if I have enough packing supplies.. and I have to stay off here to get them all packed. Amazing feast or famine.. This week we eat steaks. 😆 I do not sell on any of those places you mentioned, I did sign up for Webstore, as its all FREE, https://www.webstore.com/register.php
But really just got started, only listed 2 items to see how the listing and site works.. I should get some more up to give it a chance.. Nothing to lose by trying, they do not even ask for your bank numbers.. Thats a plus, and you can accept MO or any other way you want them to pay.

Wishing you better luck.. Maybe parents have more time now that the kids are out of school.. Not sure why, but a friend mentioned that.

Bought a pretty pair of Lisner Clip on earrings last week, they look like turq & navy leaves. Not sure how many are still buying Clip ons anymore.. So much jewelry, I must take the time to lay out a lot of it and take pictures and sell in lots, They use to sell that way here not sure anymore.. So much I should be doing..

i cut my hours back at work to 32 hours because i needed the extra day to rest......so tuesday i am taking over the three shelves at the antique mall i rented. hopefully it won't be wasted time and money. i had a full showcase last time i was there and made money but burned out. maybe three shelves won't be too much of a drag and i can get rid of some of the stuff around here.

JO Yes I have always loved colored glass, but now even more so the EAPG glass, I usually buy any I see, if reasonable, and usually get stuck with it too..

HI PAT, I'm Glad your still around. Like most of us I have too much of everything, wish I could get buying out of my system. More jewelry then I know what to do with.. Would like to sell it all, but its laying it all out to display it for pictures thats the hardest thing to do, and then having to describe it too.. I did sell some Joan Rivers items that was easy to sell, still in boxes.. Wish I could run across more of that. Not asking much am I..

Haven't seen LEON stop by in awhile.. According to his last post he was still doing flea markets.
